surplus?
I am currently in my second month of bankruptcy. This is my busy time of year at work and because I am a single mother receiving no child support I work alot of overtime to cover things like back to school, x-mas etc. What I am wondering is if I pay my surplus each month along with my bankruptcy fee or do I have to wait until the end of my bankruptcy? Thank you

This is something you need to discuss with your trustee. In our practice we advise our clients of their surplus obligation every month and encourage them to pay it immediately (otherwise it can build up to the point where they can’t deal with it easily), but in some casaes, people decide to wait and pay it all before the bankrutpcy ends.
Call your trustee and discuss your payment options with them.
