Before you can decide whether or not you should hire a lawyer (and most people do NOT hire lawyers, they appear by themselves) you need to know why the crediotr has decided to oppose your discharge. This sort of thing is done im less than 1 case out of every 100 so there is usually a reason (other than you owe them money). Did you tkae large cahs advances just before you filed? Did your income decrease significantly after you borrowed money from the creditor?
Go and see you trustee. they may have more information as to why the crediotr is opposing. You only need a lawyer if you’ve done something potentially fraudulent or inappropriate before you filed – only you know the answer to that.
