collection agencies calls
How many times a day, and how many days per week are are they allowed to call my house? I get up to about 8 calls per day nearly every 2 hours and its every day during the week. Are they allowed to do this to me.

You really need to speak to some one in NFLD to find out what the procincial laws say…
I can tell you this – most collection agencies now use electronic dialers. It only counts as a “call” if a person answers the phone. If they ring through to no answer, or to an answering machine, it does not count as a call. So, if you are actually speaking to them every couple of hours I am sure your provincial law will stop them. If you aren’t speaking to them (the calls aren’t answered or are picked up by your machine) then they are within their rights to keep trying…
Sorry, but eventually you have to deal with them, one way or another.
