Bankruptcy and C.L Spouse

If I file for bankruptcy, how does this affect me as far as the income my common law spouse brings in? Is this calculated in surplus income? Is he included in the number of persons in the household?

Assuming that your spouse resides with you, their income will be added to the household income total and they will be counted as a person living in the household. This means they will increase the trheshold of income the household is allowed before you have to make surplus income payments, but their income will alos increase the total income being considered.
