Bankruptcy and separation
Our debt gets divided evenly. So what about our assets. My soon to be ex-husband sold our boat to his girlfriend whom he was/is living with, just so he wouldn`t lose it but still gets to keep it. This was done a week before he filed. The boat was not sold by the trustee. He also borrowed the monies he gave to his trustee. Should his trustee have allowed joint assets to been sold. My divorce attorney says no, and that the transaction should be reversed. How can I question this? I informed his trustee and got no response. What can I do now?

If you have concernes over something that has been done and whether it was don inappropriately or not the first place to contact is the trustee responsible. If you do not believe that sufficient action has been taken the next place to contact would be your local Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.
