Each province sets a list of property that can be kept or is considered exemptif you file bankruptcy and have not pledged the interest in this property as collateral.

In Quebec there is not a permissible exemption for a vehicle, although there is some room for flexibility if the vehicle is necessary for employment purposes. For more information on this you are best to contact local trustee directly.
