From a bankruptcy perspective there is no problem with you purchasing a house prior to being discharged from that bankruptcy. The trick may be finding a lender. Likely most mortgage companies are going to be very difficult to obtain financing from. But if you can find someone willing to lend then you don’t need to worry about what will happen in the bankruptcy.
