Mr. K

I have about $35000 personal debt. I bought a house a year ago were I live with my wife and our two kids. Monthly cash is $2600 my salary and $1700 my wife`s salary. I pay around $600 monthly daycare and $1500 mortgage. I have no equity in the house, and bills are piling up, paying the property tax money from credit. I try to keep it up, but should I think of Bankruptcy or Proposal…? Thanks for advice!

I think you should go and speak to a local professional now – before you start missing payments and/or get any further in debt. You spending time on this site and posting a question I think you recognize you need help – the next step is to make the call and go and see someone in person. It doesn’t have to be a trustee, it may be a credit counselor, or even the loans manager at yoru local bank. You just need some one more knowledgeable than you to have a look at your situation and give you some options to deal with it.

I realize it’s hard to speak to people about your finances, especially when you’re in trouble, BUT once you do you’ll have options and then you can develop a plan to deal with the problem. Once you have a plan in place you will feel better…
