This will depend on the value of the vehicle and if there are any loans against the vehicle. In Nova Scotia if you are able to keep One motor vehicle of a value up to $3,000, or up to $6,500 if the vehicle is needed in your occupation. For more information on this you are best to contact a local trustee.
