bankrupcy and sponsorship

If common law partner is filing for bakrupcy, while having a sponsorship (for 3 years)his common law partner (family class immigration) . May it cause of breaking his sponsorship and all finances obligations to sposored partner .?

I think you should contact Immigration Canada directly and ask them this question. At the end of the day, they are the ones that get to decide whether or not you are no longer eligible to serve as your spouses sponsor.
