keeping the home

If I was to file personal bankruptcy myself, not my wife. Would we be able to keep our home which all equity was taken out already. Also, is my wife allowed to keep her credit open and available.

If there is no equity in your home you shouldn’t have any issues with retaining the property, as long as you can continue to make the necessary mortgage payments.

As for your wife’s credit, if she hasn’t signed on any of your debts and she is not filing for bankruptcy then there is no impact on any of her credit.
