Filing and Creditors

Hope you can help me on this one question.

Once I file for personal bankruptcy, can any creditor (unsecured) demand payment and/or take legal action against me, which includes their legal costs, incurred to collect $$ from me ?

Thank-you

During bankruptcy the only creditors who is still able to collect outstanding monies directly are secured creditors (i.e. a car loan if you want to keep the car) or maintenance / alimony. Other than that as long as the debt was included in your bankruptcy and relates to prior to the filing of a bankruptcy then you simply need to inform your trustee.
