Will having my utilities hooked up be affected by the bankruptcy I just filed.

I filed my bankruptcy and I had to file my outstanding union gas account.I am now going to be moving into my new residence , We were staying with family so my question is how is this going to effect me getting gas at our new place.

You will likley have to provide a deposit to have the utilities account initiated, but other than that you won’t find much of an issue. Just for reference, while the utility companies are able to require a deposit they are not able to refuse to provide service.
