Bankruptcy and Monthly Budget

I hear that when you file for bankruptcy you need to supply the trustee with a monthly BUDGET, outlining both MY income and expenses for the month.

What if I have no income ( NO JOB ), and my wife is paying for all the expenses. Will I still need to supply a budget to the trustee ? Is so, WHY ?

While you remain an undischarged bankrupt you are required to provide your trustee with monthly statements of income and expense – why? Because it’s one of the duties you are required to perform in exchange for having your debts eliminated….

If you want to eliminate your debts then yiou have to follow the rules (even if they may not make sense in your situation).
