It is very rare that a job is lost because someone has filed a bankruptcy. In fact, in most cases your employer doesnt’ even need to find out, the one exception largely being if you have a garnishee then we need to contact your employer and tell them why they are to stop the garnishee.

Over the years I have had a number of federal and provincial government employees and never seen an issue.
