If I file bankruptcy in Canada, but have debts in the United States, will those also be taken care of?

If you file for bankruptcy in Canada only your Canadian debts will be cleared.

However, while you are in Canada your american Creditors will be unable to collect on the American debts. But if you move into the the US then your American creditors will be able to invoke collection once again.
