trying to avoid creditor action as i go bankrupt

Hello,

I was working for a company that was to pay me 65K a year.. i was also resposnsible for putting forward my own money for expenses in advance and then they would pay me back later.

Turns out, I was a victim of corporate fraud/embezzlement and so on and the company went under.. I was never paid a dime for my time and never paid back my expenses

I was living with the assumption i was earning 65k a year and that all my expenses were coming back to me so i would take cash advances on my credit cards for my living needs.

I have filed court papers with the Ontario courts for failure to be paid my wages, and i have appointments with the RCMP fraud squad and also my local police to see what other avenues are out there for me to charge this company. However I saw several lawyers and it turns out i did not insulate myself well enough and don`t have the ability to go after the owner for my money in a civil lawsuit.

so i will be out money for expenses for business and also because i lived off credit having never been paid i am severely in debt and will need to file bankruptcy.

Would proof of these legal measures i am taking against my former employer be enough for creditors to not charge me with fraud? These expenses/advances were happening right up until a month ago?

As of now i have perfect credit, but i will (as i have been) borring from credit to pay credit. So to avoid commiting fraud, i suppose i need to declare ASAP?

thanks

As this is a verly involved matter you will need to contact a local trustee directly.

Due to the nature of the situaiton I would requrie more information to be able to provide an answer, and informaiton that it simply would not be possible to review given the nature of this blog. So contact a local trustee, bring in as much documentation of this as you can and they will be better able to advise you.
