Bank Statements

I am in a position that I need to claim bankruptcy but in recent months I have become married and at times my husband has deposited money into my account so I could pay some of his bills through telephone banking.Will this negatively affect me? ….even though the money clearly shows going out to bills addressed to him on my statement??? Neither of us has `extra` money( His income covers his bills and some household expenses but his income amount does not allow us to pay down my debt)

This should not be an issue for your trustee – simply explain what has been going on.

I should tell you that if you decide to file bankrutpcy or a proposal your spouses’s income is going to be included in the calculation of your household income. While your spouse may not be directly involved, their income may impact on your payments.
