Owing $205K in debt.

Hello.

I have about $150K owing to Rev Can for about 7 years of back taxes/interest/penalty.
This is after I filed for FAIRNESS consideration.

I also have about $55K in Credit Cards
I am NOT working, Therefore no income at all.
My wife is supporting us for now.

Can I qualify to file for personal bankruptcy ?
Based on this info, will I be discharged after 9 months once I file ?

You would definately qualify for a bankruptcy. As for how long this bankruptcy would last it is difficult to predict as this may fluctuate depending on which jurisdiction you live and what the local practice of the courts are.

In Albera I would expect 21 to 36 months in total but for a better idea of your area you should contact a local trustee.
