I reside in quebec,me and my wife have paid the morgate together,and now I have a financial situation could not afford to pay,she then ask her brother to joint to help her to pay the other half,if I file for bankruptcy,is my wife have any responsibility for my debt and would creditor will seized the house.Thankyou.

This will depend on how much equity you have in the house. As this is determined based on provincial legislation you are best to contact a local trustee and discuss whether or not there will be any impact on the house in your situation.
