In bankruptcy you do not loose your paycheck or every ounce of income, regardless of the source. You will be responsible to make some monthly payments to your trustee’s office and usually these payments are around $200 per month (although if you have higher income the payment will increase accordingly).
As for debts, being discharged from bankrutpcy will release you from the majority of your unsecured debt. There is a category of debt that is not released from bankrutpcy which includes things like fraud, misappropriateion, child support, criminal fines and restitution orders etc.
The best thing to do is to local trustee, have them review your debts and they will be able to determine if any of those will survive the bankruptcy.
