While I don’t have any contact with the American Credit Rating System to the best of my understanding a credit rating is country specific. Although, there is nothing preventing creditors from looking at credit globally before making granting decisions.

While I have not heard of any of the creditors regularly doing this, it is possible for them to do so. So while your Canadian Credit Rating is separate from that in other countries, it is possible to indirectly impact the lenders decisions.
