please help !!! bank took my money…

My mom filed for bankruptcy about 2 weeks ago. When I tried to take some money out from my student account from the debit machine today, I had $0 balance in my account. What was left of my OSAP money ($400) was gone. I also couldn`t get into my account online.

I now remember, for security reasons, i added my mom`s name on my account years ago.

how can i get my money back, that was my money? i have been reading up on bankruptcy, as i understand, once she filed bankruptcy, no creditors can take any more money.

please help. i need that money to tie me thru until next semester.

You should be asking your mother’s trustee to assist you with the bank – likely they can give the bank a call and either have the withdrawal reversed or have the money forwarded to the trustee (to return to you if appropriate).
