There is nothing to prevent you from working before, during of after a bankrutpcy.

Now there may be some potential employers that may have concerns wit hiring someone in bankruptcy (i.e. banks, insurance companies), but this is relatively rare.

For a better idea of what types of employers may be concerned you are best to discuss this with a local trustee.
