Living overseas

what happens if you are living overseas (over 12 months) and plan to stay but are having difficulties paying your Canadian loans due to the fact you are earning quite a bit less? are you eligible to do anything in this situation?

Unfortunately, until/unless you return to Canada, there is very little you can do about your situation. If you know that you are coming back for a visit you might consider arranging to meet with a trustee on your return to discuss your options.
