Typically most future employment prospects are not limited by the choice to file for bankruptcy.

However, I must put a caveat, as there is alwasy an exception to the rule. I have found that some people have had difficulty obtaining employment from banks, in some provinces if you want to be an insurance or mortgage broker it can be more difficult and a few professional organizations frown on their membership having had been bankruptcy. The difficulty is that this varies by province so what happens here in Alberta may not accurately reflect what you will find elsewhere.

The key thing to remember that this is the exception not the rule. Over the years I have run into only a handful of circumstances where this ever became an issue.

Although, if concerned I reccomend you contact a local trustee and ask him what you can expect in your province.
