How to verify if someone is still bankrupt

How does someone go about verifying if someone has been released/discharged from a bankruptcy, without the obvious way of asking the person directly?

The person that I am enquiring about may have been discharged in March as this was his 1st bankruptcy.

A licensed trustee said...

The best way to determine if someone has been discharged is to contact either the trustee that handled the file or the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy “OSB”(the government agency that monitors and controls the bankrupcy process). The OSB even has an on-line search feature that you can use to check – for a fee.
