Filing for bankruptcy the second time
I have been out of bankruptcy for approximately 9 years.I am a compulsive gambler who stopped gambling for 7 years
until the last 2 years. My stock market and gambling losses have put me over 50,000 in debt 43,000 in credit card debt.As I am close to 50 years old I don’t see any way of getting out from under this debt.Would I be able to file a second time as this was the reason I filed my first bankruptcy?

Yes, you can go bankrupt a second time, but it is a much more complicated and costly process the second time around.
Your trustee will want proof that you are getting treatment for your gambling problem, to make sure that you are truly getting a fresh start.
