Child support obligations are not discharged if you go bankrupt, so if that is the only reason for going bankrupt, no, bankruptcy would not be an option for you. If you have other debts, bankruptcy may make sense, if it then frees up enough cash each month to allow you to make your child support payments. Contact a trustee (see link on the right) to find a local trustee who can advise you on your options.
