supplementary credit card in some one else’s name
I got a supplementary card in someone else’s name and gave it to that person. Now that I am in bankrupcy, the credit card company is going after that person for the entire credit card debt. Is that not in violation of the Bankrupcy Act? They are going after a debt that is in bankrupcy. This person never signed a contract or a single thing. It was a supplementary card in thier name but it was MY credit card account.

Even though the other person did not apply for the card, if they have a card with their name on it, and if they have used the card, the credit card company will generally pursue them for any unpaid balance.
