Last question has me worried
I am in a very similar situation as the last person.
I was struggling to make all of our ends meet. I would be constantly juggling credit to pay bills. In July, I finally decided to take up an offer of instant line of credit with credit company. It was no problem getting it. I was instantly approved, even though I was knee deep in debt. My job was very weather dependent, and bills were racking up, due to unfavorable weather. I had no choice but to use this credit. I ended up using 3000.00 of a possible 5000 line of credit.
After honest intentions of paying all this back, I realized I was in a hole that would be nearly impossible to get out of without filing bankruptcy. I filed in the middle of Aug.
One of my first concerns I brought up with my trustee was the line of credit I had recently took out. She expressed little concern, as I used it for legitmate reasons. I did not go on a trip, buy new furniture etc. She said it wouldn’t be a problem. Now reading of the last posters plight, I am very concerned. Will I be sued as well??

You will not necessarily be sued. However, in every bankruptcy all creditors review your transactions with them in the three months prior to bankruptcy, and if they suspect that you borrowed from them during that period before bankruptcy, and knew that you couldn’t pay it back, they can pursue you after you are discharged from bankruptcy.
In most cases the creditor files a claim in your bankruptcy and doesn’t pursue you further. However, as indicated in the previous question, it is possible.
I suggest you wait a few weeks and then ask your trustee if that creditor has submitted a claim in your bankruptcy. If they have, you can ask to see a copy of the claim to see if they have mentioned fraud.
Regardless, you will not know for sure if they will pursue you until your bankruptcy is over.
