CCRA Collection

Is it true that the Canada Cust. & Revenue Agency (agents) receive Commissions on the amount of back Taxes that they can collect form us!

A licensed trustee said...

To the best of my knowledge Revenue Canada collectors do not work for commission. I believe they are all salaried employees.

However, it would be logical to assume that they do receive performance evaluations based on their success at collecting, so I would assume they all have at least some incentive to collect as much as they are able.
