Will bankruptcy affect your credit rating abroad

My spouse and I are planning to file for bankruptcy. We have about 50K of unsecured debts and have a hard time keeping up with the payments. Should we move to the UK, will bankruptcy in Canada affect our credit standing in UK?

To answer this question you need to ask someone in the UK whether or not any of your Canadian credit history will follow you to Britain.
