what if I have furniture on one depatment store and it’s don’t pay for a year and the year isn’t up yet.With all other cards,cannot make the payments and go bankrupt,what about the furniture ?

A licensed trustee said...

The answer depends on where you live and whether or not the furniture company took any steps to protect themselves in the event that you cannot pay.

When you go and see a trustee in your area explain to them what you’ve done and when the account for the furniture comes due – they will let you know the ramifications and how it is likely to be handled in your area.
