inheritance and banruptcy

I declared banruptcy in 2004 Feb. and I was discharged in Nov of 2004. I owed CCRA about 60,000 at that time.

its now August 2005, I have just being informed that I have an house that is inherited in a foreign country.

If I sell that house and transfer the money about 10,000$ to a canadian bank, can the CCRA come along and take my money?

Assuming that the debt was included in the bankruptcy, since November of 2004 you have stayed current on any accounts with CCRA and therefore currently owe CCRA any money that would relate to the after bankruptcy period, then CCRA has no ability to intercept those funds. Having said that, it will be important to investigate the income tax implications as you will be required to declare these funds as income, but I suggest you consult with an accountant who specializes in tax for further details relating to tax.
