Vehicle

My wife owns 2 cars (they have been hers for several years.) I don’t drive. If I declare bankruptcy by myself will she have to surrender a vehicle?

If you don’t drive, both these vehicles are in your wife’s name and always have been, then I don’t forsee any concerns. However, I recomend you contact a trustee in your local area (simply click on the “Contact an Expert” link) and discuss this with their office prior to filing any documents, this way you can ensure they are aware of this unique situation and can gauge how they would deal with this issue.
