i used one of my credit cards to get a gift for a girlfriend,we are no longer together,and the gifts i got for her i can’t get back.i have no way to contact her. i’m thinking of declaring bankruptcy what happens if declare bankruptcy?i don’t have much pre bankruptcy income,will i have to pay the items back before i can declare bankruptcy?i didn’t think i was gonna go bankrupt,would that be considered fraud?

No you would not be able to keep any of these cards. When you file for bankruptcy you are requred to turn all credit cards over to your trustee.
There are two exceptions, the first is if the cards are not in your name and the 3rd party whose name they are in agrees to allow you to keep the card. The othere exception is if you are able to obtain written permission from the the credit card company that they agree to allow you to keep this card and then provide this documentation to your trustee.
