When you file forpersonal bankruptcy in Canada, your creditors will automatically review all purchases you have made in the past three months. If you purchase appliances and then go bankrupt, it is likely that you will be required to return the appliances, or repay the money. Many credit card companies now are waiting actually charging people with fraud to recover the money. I would suggest you contact a licensed trustee to determine your options.
