are there discharge friendly banks/institutions out there?

I have been discharged for 3 years now and I have done all the right things, I got a secured credit card, I even got a small loan through a finance company and paid it off, my beacon score is now 625 but I would like to get a small rrsp loan to try and push it to 650. I don’t want to have 3-4 companies pull a bureau on me and I would like a better lender on my report than a finance company; has anyone had any luck with conventional lenders?

This is an excellent thing to do and you are well on your way to rebuilding credit. I suggest simply going to the bank you are currently banking with. You have an existing relationship that is positive, so build on that. Typically the RRSP Loan is the easiest type of contract to enter into so I don’t expect that you will have any trouble, but remember you are always better to start small and replicate the process than starting to big.
