Overdraft on bank account

I claimed bankruptcy 2 weeks ago, and as a result opened up a new bank account at a different banking institution for my paycheque and payments to go through. Because I wasn’t sure if my pay would be deposited in my new account in time, I made arrangements with the 2 companies that had cheques, to make the payments in the new year, and they agreed. Well, they BOTH put the cheques through on the old account in error, and now the account is $700.00 overdrawn. (There IS an $800.00 overdraft on that account in place ) This amount is not included in my bankruptcy because at the time of filing that account was NOT overdarawn. What will happen with that money now? Will I have to pay it back to my old bank, or will it be included in the bankruptcy?

You should discuss this with your trustee and he will most likely be able to send documents to the Bank and include this debt in your bankruptcy as it technically relates to an action that occurred prior to your filing of the bankruptcy.
