My exhusband and I have been separated for over one year. We are still in the process of finalizing the separation agreement. My question is if he goes bankrupt am I responsible for his debts even though my name does not appear on any of them. Question 2. Can he put spousal support into bankruptcy.

If you haven’t signed on any of the loan documents, nor have used any supplementary cards, then you don’t have to worry as the institutions can’t pursue you. As for spousal support, this is a debt that you can’t be cleared from by a consumer proposal or a bankruptcy.
