Starting New Company

I have recently been discharged from my bankruptcy and I wish to start a company.

Can I serve as a director in a limited company, if not could I appoint someone else as a director and then be the president?

I would own all the shares in the company.

Can a bank refuse to let me open a business account for me because I have been bankrupt.

Once you have been discharged from bankruptcy There is nothing that prevents you from being a director of a limited company or owning share in the limited company. As for whether or not the bank will be willing to provide a business account, this really depends on the institution and you would be best advised to call your local banks for more details.
