Creditors Opposing Discharge
I have heard that some people have trouble getting discharged because creditors oppose their discharge, and that they oppose discharge because of how the person has used the credit. Logically speaking everyone had to use their credit somehow to rack up their debt, so my question is what ways can you use credit that are ok and what ways can you use your credit that are not ok?

Essentially it comes down to the pattern of use, and the types of expenses. If the pattern of use is unusual just prior to filing a bankruptcy or the types of transactions related to unnecessary expenses, then you will often be required to repay the amounts of these transactions into the bankruptcy estate prior to discharge.
If considering a bankruptcy in Canada or a consumer proposal you would be best advised to simply stop using credit, otherwise you may be jeopardizing the process.
