Student Loan and debt relief programs

My credit score has been affected by miscommunication with student loans. The provincial one is up to date and it has very easy access to information. However; the federal one has been difficult. They have not given me access to information about my account. I was only to send a void check, which I have.
What I was wondering is how can I get all information on federal student loans and are their debt relief programs in regards to my attending school while under the care of a single parent.

Your best bet will be to contact the financial aid officer of the school you attended and ask them for contact information. They should be able to point you in the right direction.
