Only if yiou want to fly back to Nova Scotia to file the assignment and to attend any meetings your trustee requires.

I suggest you call a trustee in BC and discuss your concerns – I suspect you will decide it makes more sense to file in BC where you live (and avoid the cost of travelling back and forth 3 or 4 times).
