Is it mandatory in Canada to inform a new/potential employer that a person has declared personal bankruptcy?

A licensed trustee said...

You are only required to disclose your staus as an undischarged bankrupt to persons granting you more than $500 in new credit or to anyone that asks. If your new employer asks then I guess you’ll have to tell them.
