Manual Discharge (2nd bankruptcy)

I am eligible for a manual discharge this month, after I finish making my payments to the trustee. How do I go about doing this and generally how long does it take? I require discharge for a certain aspect of my employment which can be terminated at any time, if this process takes too long.

In most instances, if you file bankruptcy in Canada the trustee will arrange for your discharge. However, the term manual discharge is one I am not familiar with. The common types of discharge are automatic, absolute and suspended and each of these will normally happen through a trustee’s office. I think would be best to contact your original trustee and have him explain what will be the next steps required to obtain a discharge.
