ex gone bankrupt

my fiance and i are to be married in 4 months, all of our assets are tied together. the ex girlfried of my fiance has been gone over a year and is now claiming bankruptcy and saying that our assets our hers, can she really do that?

Unfortunately, you need to ask this question to a Family Law expert, not a bankruptcy trustee. Whether or not someone’s ex has any rights to communal property,particularly if they haven’t advanced a claim for it in over a year, is not something we are qualified to respond to.
