self-employed debts

I recently closed my business, owned soly by me, I owe for almost a year of PST and 6 months worth of GST for the business, I was considering doing a proposal but im not sure whether moneys owed to the government can be included. also if they are not able to be included in a proposal, can they be included in bankruptcy?

PST, GST and all other government debts may be included in either a proposal or bankruptcy, in fact, they have to be included when you file.

Take a few minutes to summarize your debts and write out a budget (how you spend you money each month) and then find a local trustee to discuss which procedure makes more sense for you.
