Problems with existing Trustee

My existing Trustee in Alberta made demands that I was unable to meet and they refused to support my bankruptcy proceedings until I came up with over $3,500 in arrears which I didn’t have and provide $500 per month to my only creditor. This situation arose because the Trustee determined that a $1,000 per month payment to my ex-wife under a legal dovorce contract was not a legitimate deduction from income. Can I have my current situation reviewed by someone so that I can make restitution to CCRA who is my only creditor. and get on with my life?

If you have any concerns with the way you have been dealt with by your trustee you can always discuss this with the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, and they may have some suggestions as to whether or not what was done by the trustee was justified, or may be able to help you discover some other avenue to resolve things.
